In October, I'll be completing the Milwaukee Lakefront Half Marathon as a SoleMate in support of Girls on the Run Southeastern Wisconsin.
Running has had a profound impact on my life. Among other reasons, it is my go-to stress reliever, the place where I do my best thinking, and when I feel most like myself. It has taught me strength, resilience and confidence. Because of that, I'm proud to support an organization that helps young girls discover those same qualities within themselves.
Girls on the Run provides life-changing programs that help girls recognize their inner strength, build confidence, develop healthy habits and understand that their potential is limitless. I'm fundraising so that more girls can have access to this incredible program and the empowerment, tools and community it provides. Your support means so much to me, and it will make a real difference for the girls whose lives will be touched by this program.
